This picture was take June 29, 2005 in Washington D.C. Robin and I took an awesome vacation for our 5 year anniversary (which was on June 24th.) We spent about 4 days in Washington D.C. and then took an Amtrak train to New York City where we met up with our good friends, The Kreys, for about 4 more days. Neither of us had been to D.C. or N.Y.C. so this was a really cool trip for both of us. We did a LOT of sight-seeing!
I am very grateful for the vacations that Robin and I have taken and I’m prayerful that we’ll get to take another vacation in 2010 for our 10 year anniversary!

Thanks for playing! This game was fun. Your picture made me wish I had traveled more before we had kids. I think I have learned you can't fully appreciate what you had until after you have children. Not that I don't now, but I didn't realize how special my time alone with Chris was until we had kids and don't get as much now. I can't believe 10 years is next year. Time flies!

ReplyDeletehave you seen this blog? I'm sure you have because it was linked from Bring the Rain and several others that I read. If not, this girl Kelly's baby is in critical condition in the NICU at St. Francis. I was wondering if that was your hospital? She is from Arkansas but her baby's been moved to Tulsa. Anyway, just thought I'd pass along her info! I know she's just a "blog" friend and not someone I know personally, but I feel burdened and connected! :)
